Whether supporting the laying down of a pipeline through mine polluted land or establishing a humanitarian support base in a post conflict environment the worldwide scourge of land mines and unexploded ordinance (UXO) can daily affect the logistics of the operation.

Staff and facilities are at risk, routes can be closed and the operation of the project will be compromised. In order to mitigate the risks to the logistics and supply chain in these environments, C2 developed with it's partners capability to address this need.

This "blue chip" partnership has undertaken mine and UXO clearance operations in over 35 countries.

• Deployment of an experienced team of technical advisors responsible for coordinating with host nation officials, directing logistical support, and overseeing day-to-day clearance operations;
• Use of a highly effective integrated approach to mine and UXO clearance involving manual deminers, mine detection dogs, and mechanical equipment to increase efficiency, and ensure safety and quality;
• Integration of local staff, who are trained and employed as deminers, dog handlers, medics, machine operators, supervisors, and laborers to build the indigenous capacities of the host nations in which we operate.
