In order to safely peform in many conflict and even supposedly post-conflict environments it is necessary to provide ballistic protection to vehicles and personnel. C2 recognises a particular reqirement in logistics support for lightweight and flexible protection that does not limit the operational performance or manouverability of vehicles. We have a range of soutions that meet these requirements using advanced fibre composites.

At present we can offer light weight solutions to offer protection up to 14,5 mm machine gun with armour piercing projectiles (according to NATO STANAG 4569 level 4).

The light weight armour is primarily used in vehicles, ships or aircraft where only minimal additional weight is allowed. Many resources are used for constantly developing and optimizing the range to minimize weight and to increase the level of protection.
